We’ve created a spreadsheet in Excel 97/2000 that can be used to monitor your domain names, to make sure that the registrar hasn’t been changed. If you see a change in the domain registrar, this could indicate that your domain has been hijacked. Checking your domain name “WHOIS” information on a regular basis is prudent.

To download the sample workbook, click here. Some folks using Frontpage are unable to use the above link (Frontpage changes settings, to try to edit/run the Excel file directly from the website). If you have this problem, download the ZIP archive instead, and then unzip the file to save the Excel workbook to your hard disk.
